handmade rubber ducky invitation or thank-you card
These are sweet invitations for your Rubber Ducky Party, or use them to say thank-you to your guests for a quacking good time! Print our Handmade Rubber Ducky Invitation template directly onto yellow card, or print one, cut it out and trace the body and wing onto a large sheet of yellow card. Glue the wing onto the body, but don’t stick it all down - it is much better fun if it flaps! Cut the beak out of orange contact or paper, and stick onto the beak area. Add a googlie eye. Write the party details on the back (or print the details onto yellow paper and glue onto the back).
Some suggested wording: What a lucky ducky Charlize would be, if you would join her to celebrate her very first birthday! Please waddle on over for a Rubber Ducky party. Sunday August 19th 11:30 - 1:30. At the bathtub at 2 Splish Splash Street, Bubbletown. Give Mother Duck, Tammy, a “quack” on 8123 4567
I have posted a link to this page in my blog, and I am going to post it on another blog.
Thank you for the ducky ideas and templates. My grown daughter is having a decorate your desk contest at work and her theme is duckys.
I hope today I can use the template to cut some yellow material and put that on a panel of other material I have that has duckies all around it. And frame that.
And I want to make her a bookmark and frame some other goodies with a embroidery circle I found at the thrift store the other day.
I will try and post photos on my blog, if I can get the camera to work.
Thank you once again.
These sound like wonderful ideas, thanks for sharing them. I hope your daughter wins!
Thank you so much for this template. I am hosting a ducky themed baby shower in May & I plan on making these as invites. I have made a few templates & they are going to be ADORABLE. Thanks again.
Edit: I also plan to use a small hole punch to attach a thin blue ribbon at the neckline, so everyone knows she is having a boy.
Tara,
Hope the baby shower goes well. Adding ribbons to the invites is a great idea!! I’m sure they’ll look really sweet.
Tammy
Thank you so much for the idea. I did it for my twins baby shower invitation. the result was so cute, I put them into a blue envelope.
