strawberry mice
I made a platter of strawberry mice for Charlize’s Mickey Mouse party, but they went so quickly that I didn’t have a chance to take a photo! Luckily, I had placed one strawberry mouse on the cheese platter, so I do have a photo to share.
For each mouse, remove the hull of a strawberry and slightly trim the side of the strawberry so it sits flat. Push two almond slivers into the top of the strawberry for ears. For a tail, use a skewer to make a small hole in the back of the strawberry and push a piece of licorice lace into the hole.
Alternative: You can add a face to each mouse by pressing a mini chocolate chip or currant into the tip of the strawberry for the nose, and by using an icing tube or currants for the eyes. Also try cutting a thin strip from a fruit strap or dried paw paw for the tail.

Add these to your goodie bags at your Mickey Mouse party. Simply pick up some note pads from your local variety store (you can usually buy them in packs of 5 or so), use our printable Mickey Mouse notebook cover or printable Minnie Mouse notebook cover and stick it to the front.
mickey mouse pop biscuit
If baking isn’t your thing, try these no-bake Mickey Mouse pop biscuits. Cut a skewer in half, then gently slide it directly through the centre of an Oreo biscuit (through the white fillling in the middle) and stop just before it comes out the other end. If the biscuits come apart, gently press them together or glue together with melted chocolate. (Hint: Pop the Oreos in the microwave on defrost for 10 seconds before you insert the sticks so they slide right in and the biscuit doesn’t move). Rub a dark chocolate button on the side of a hot kettle to slightly melt it, and gently insert between the biscuits. Repeat for the other ear. Mix icing sugar with a little warm water and red food colouring, until icing becomes smooth and slightly runny. Coat the bottom half of the biscuit with the red icing. When the icing is dry, add two dots of white icing (I used a tube of white icing) for Mickey’s buttons. Store in an airtight container, and refrigerate if the weather is hot!
If you want to give them as party favours, pop each one into a cellophane bag, then tie a little ribbon underneath the biscuit.
airwalker mickey mouse foil balloon
I was hesitant about buying this for Charlize’s party - it was a little pricey. But I am so glad I did. Her face lit up, she ran and hugged him, and wouldn’t let him go! He was an absolute hit with the kids, and makes a great prop for photos. I purchased this one from a party supplies store, but you can also order one online, then take it to a parties supply store to get it filled with helium.
mickey mouse serviettes
These Mickey Mouse napkins add a novel touch to your table. Purchase some solid colour serviettes and use our Mickey Mouse serviette template to cut the Mickey shape out of the serviettes.
mickey mouse goodie bag
These Mickey Mouse goodie bags are so simple to make - but don’t they look good?!! Purchase some solid red bags. Print out our Mickey Mouse template for goodie bags and cut out the Mickey shape that best suits the size of your bag. Use this template to cut Mickey shapes from black paper. Glue the mickey shapes onto the front of the goodie bag, and write each child’s name on the back left corner of each bag.
mickey mouse baby wipes party favour
When I held Charlize’s party, the guests included two babies. Naturally, the goodie bags weren’t entirely appropriate for them! So I bought a small packet of hand and face wipes (which happened to be in the Mickey colours!) and stuck a themed label on the packet. You can download the mickey mouse hand and face wipes label to create your own party favour for your littlest guests.
